He <br />stated, "Mr. Dutcher is unable to pe present. He wrote <br />me a letter requesting that Mr. Kuiper take his place, <br />someone other than an accredited member to sit in his <br />absence. A question has arisen as to the voting of Mr. <br />Kuiper at this meeting togay. I don't know whether that <br />question will be raised or not formally. I might ask <br />the Attorney 6eneral what he thinks." <br /> <br />Mr. Dunbar: "I don't see any reason why he can't vote <br />in Mr. Dutcher's place". <br /> <br />~r. Hunter: "It has been done in the past." <br /> <br />Mr. Bailey: "I think that is right. I think as a matter <br />of practice, we have permitted it. Is there any object- <br />ion to Mr. Kuiper sitting here? If not, we will proceed. <br />First, the approval of the minutes of the sessions hold <br />on August 6;.1953 and November 10, 1953. Are there any <br />corrections to the minutes of those two meetings?" <br /> <br />Mr. Moses: "I 1'10VE that the minutes of those' two meet- <br />ings be approved." <br /> <br />Mr. Dille: "I SECOND that motion." MOTION CARRIED. <br /> <br />Mr. Bailey: "The next item on the agenda is the renewal <br />of contract with Jean S. Breitenstein." <br /> <br />Mr. Breitenstein: <br />provided that the <br />Tipton's." <br /> <br />"I am willing to $enew my contract, <br />contract will be the same as Mr. <br /> <br />Mr. Crawford: "That is omitting the following from the <br />present contract": <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />"To give first party's work precedence over <br />all other matters and to be ready to represent <br />and advise first party at the times and places <br />indfcated by first party, or its Director". <br /> <br />Mr. Breitenstein: "That clause is not in Mr. Tipton's <br />contract. It would be inadvisable for me to make a <br />contract containing that provision. I can assure the <br />Board, that I will, to the best of my ability, perform <br />any duties the Board may assign.
