Director, eWes Tuesdav. Mareh 10. 1998 Call to Order Note: 8:10a.m. A regular meeting of the Colorado Water Conservation Board was held at the Cherry Creek Inn, 600 S. Colorado Blvd. Denver, CO 80222 The meeting was called to order at 8:10 a.m. on Tuesday, March 10, 1998, by Chairperson Patricia Wells. Seven voting members were present so there was a quorum (at least six required). Board members present were Patricia Wells, David Smith, Eric Kuhn, Ray Werner, Janice Sheftel, Bob Burr, Alan Hamel, Doug Robotham (representing the DNR Executive Director), Lee Miller (representing the Attomey General), Bruce McCloskey (representing the Division of Wildlife Director) and CWCB Acting Director Peter Evans.' While many agenda items were taken out of order due to attendee convenience, these minutes are listed in agenda item order for easier reference. 1. Review and Approval of Agenda and Next Meeting Dates Tape I, Start/Stop: 0001 - 0380 Action: The following changes were made to the agenda: item 13c was deleted, and a correction was made to the bill reference in 17 g to read HB-98-1288. Item 18 c(v). will be held in the late aftemoon on the first day. It was agreed that the May meeting will be held on May 11-12 in Grand Junction, with a field trip planned to view local water projects. It was also agreed that the July Board Meeting will be held in Telluride on July 13-14, 1998. The September was scheduled for September 21-22,1998 in Buena Vista, and the November 23-24, 1998 meeting will be held in Denver. A motion was made by Alan Hamel that the agenda be approved with these changes. The motion was seconded by Janice Sheftel and approved unanimously (7-0). 'A complete record of the meeting has been made on audio cassette tspes. The tapes and the associated staff memoranda are the only legal record of the meeting. These written summaries are intended only as an aid to research and a guide to the tapes. The motions described herein may not necessarily represent a verbatim transcription. Agenda items are presented in numerical order, according to the Agenda for the meeting. Tape numbers and approximate locations are identified for the beginning and end of each agenda item. These tapes are available for listening at the ewCR during regular office hours. Arrangements to make copies of the tapes or written transcripts of specific agenda items may be made at the requestor's expense. Notes from the meeting for identification of times and tapes for specific agenda items can also be reviewed at the ewCR offices. lVoting tallies are based on members present for voting. MemberS recusing themselves are identified. Because Board members may leave the meeting on occasion, please contact the CWCB office to review the original meeting notes to detennine whether or not a Board member was present during a specific agenda item.
