that?"

"Well, Craig, as you know, the legislation
did authorize the projects; it did state that
we could work out land equivalents on all three
projects and as a base we were to take 160 acres
of Class 1 land in the Bostwick Park area. We
were to work out, on those three projects, what
those land equivalents would be in class 1 on
Bostwick Park. It is going to be necessary then
to collect a lot of economic data on what the
return to a farmer would be on 160 acres of
Class 1 land in the Bostwick Park area and relate
it to all of these other classes of land on these
other projects.

It is essentially an economic study con-
sidering such factors as growing season, the
crops that can be grown and so on. As soon as
we corne up with those figures and supply them
to the Committee and they are substantiated by
actual data that we can collect in the field,
then I think we will have satisfied that Commit-
tee. I think it's principally a matter of making
those studies and as soon as they are completed,
any help that we can get will be appreciated.
But we must make those studies and make this
report to that Committee."

"Bob, the point that I kind of wanted to
make, I wondered if you would welcome any sug-
gestions or help from other agencies, say like
phil's Board, and if they would be willing maybe
to give you the benefit of some of the knowledge
they might have on these things that take you
guys so long to get."

"Certainly we would like that help. We are
also working with local committees from the local
conservancy districts to get that information.
Essentially that is a report that the Bureau of
Reclamation must make.
