(See p, HIOI56, CR, November 10, <br />2005,) <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />SENATE ACTION <br />Agriculture Aporooriations <br />A unanimous-consent agreement was reached providing that at a time determined by the <br />Majority Leader in consultation with the Democratic Leader, Senate begin consideration of <br />the conference report to accompany H.R. 2744, making appropriations for Agriculture, Rural <br />Development, Food and Drug Administration and Related Agencies for the fiscal year ending <br />September 30, 2006; that there be two hours of debate divided equally between the majority <br />and minority and that upon the use or yielding back of time, Senate vote on adoption of the <br />conference report, (Seep, S12145, CR, November I, 2005,) <br /> <br />Senate began consideration of the conference report to accompany H.R. 2744, making <br />appropriations for Agriculture, Rural Development, Food and Drug Administration and <br />Related Agencies for the fiscal year ending September 30, 2006. <br />A unanimous-consent agreement was reached providing for further consideration of the <br />conference report at 9 a,m, on Thursday, November 3,2005, with a vote on adoption of the <br />conference report to occur thereon, (See pp, SI2219-28, S12281, CR, November 2,2005,) <br /> <br />By 81 yeas to 18 nays (Vote No, 282), Senate agreed to the conference report to accompany <br />H,R, 2744, making appropriations for Agriculture, Rural Development, Food and Drug <br />Administration and Related Agencies for the fiscal year ending September 30, 2006, clearing <br />the measure for the President.
