<br />. <br /> <br />Produced Waters Workshop Scheduled: A Workshop Entitled "Energy and Water - How Can We <br />Get Both for the Price of One?" will be held April 4-5 in Fort Collins, The event is co-sponsored by the <br />Bureau of Reclamation, National Institutes for Water Resources, V.S, Geological Survey, and the Family <br />Farm Alliance <br /> <br />The overriding goal of this workshop is to enhance understanding of opportunities and challenges <br />involved in converting produced waters to beneficial use, This will be accomplished through the assembly <br />of disciplines and entities that can broadly characterize produced water sources, issues, and opportunities <br />for responsible identification and development of realistic beneficial uses, The workshop will <br />. Identify the key opportunities and capabilities of state-of-the-art treatment technologies for <br />produced waters; <br />. Initiate discussions regarding public policies to facilitate the development of this valuable <br />resource; and, <br />.
