Proiect Description

This 5270,000 project involved the reconstruction of approximately 3.2 miles of open
channel ditch lateral \vith an underground pressurized pipe system and the construction of a new
headgate at the Grand Valley :V1ain line Channel. There are 24 shareholders along the
improvement reach accounting for a over 250 acres of irrigated land. The underground piped
lateral system eliminated exisling seepage and flooding problems in the area. as well as provided
for salinity comrol.
