<br />Authorization: <br />Water Source: <br />Terms of Loan; <br /> <br />e <br /> <br />The Kenosha Trout Club is located 8 miles southwest oftheTown of Grant, near Kenosha Pass, Lininger Lake, <br />which is used for fish, wildlife, and recreation purposes by subdivision residents, is supplied by a junior water <br />right that cannot be fiUed unless its consumptive use dlle to evaporation is replaced. The estimated average <br />annual divertable volume is 110 acre-feet, and the evaporative loss needing augmentation is 46 acre-feet. The <br />Association plans on purchasing senior water rights that are'suitable for augmentation. Dam improvements <br />include installing a low level outlet structure and raising the crest of the dam approximately 12-inches, Leonard <br />Rice Consulting Water Engineers completed the feasibility ~tudy, Dam improvements are tentatively scheduled <br />for the FaU of 200 1. <br /> <br />County: Park <br />Beaver Creek Project Yi~ld: 156 acre-feet <br />$600,000 @5,50% for 30-years Project Type: Dam Rehabilitation <br /> <br /> <br />14. Supply Irrigation Ditch Company - Knoth Reserv!lir Dam Rehabilitation <br />Authorization: County: Boulder - N,E. of Lyons <br />Water Source: St. Vrain Creek Project Yield: 9,500 acre-feet <br />Terms of Loan: $1,700,000 @3.50% for 30-years Project Type: Dam Rehabilitation <br /> <br />The Supply Irrigation Ditch Company is proposing to rehabilitate the Knoth Reservoir for use as an equalizer, and <br />for storage under a conditional decree for 542 acre-feet. Tt1e average annual volume diverted now is 9,500 acre- <br />feet, which will be increased to 10,040 acre-feet with the project improvements in place. The planned <br />improvements include, reshaping the upstream face, of the dams and the placement of clay, installation of a toe <br />drain, construction of 200 foot long spillway, placement ofrip rap, raising the dam crest on both dams to gage <br />height 30-ft" removal of two abandoned outlets, and the repair of the existing outlet to a good working condition. <br />The proposed improvements are being designed by Smith Geotechnical, of Fort Collins, Colorado, and are <br />planned to be constructed in the FaU/Winter of 2001/02, <br /> <br />e <br /> <br />e <br />
