· The DOW documented that a natural environment is present in the form of a cutthroat and rainbow trOUt
fishery.
· Based on the DOW's biological recommendation, flows of2.S cfs, summer, and 1 cfs, wimer, are

necessary to preserve the natural environment to a reasonable degree. However, the winter ~eam
flow recommendation was reduced to 0.5 cfs (11/15-4130) based on the water availability analysis. The
DOW believes the lower flow recommendation will still preserve the natural environment.. ->

· CWCB staffhas conducted a water availability analysis and detennined these amounts are available for:
the Board's appropriation. ~
· CWCB staffhas determined that adequate water supplies exist such that the natural environment may be .
preserved without limiting or foreclosing the exercise of valid existing water rights.
