This water right application is to provide a water <br />supply for a residential devel09ment including a tree nursery and <br />open space which is located approximately a mile northeast of the <br />town of Eagle on the Eagle River. <br /> <br />The CWCB has an instream flow water right decree on this <br />reach of the Eagle River for 110 cfs summer and 45 cfs winter <br />with a March 17, 1980, appropriation date. <br /> <br />Applicant's Proposal <br /> <br />The applicant proposes to develop 14 two-acre lots and a <br />ten-acre tree nursery with a single caretaker unit on the nursery <br />site. Total water use depletions would be: in-house (15 units) <br />0.5 aC-ft/yr, lawn irrigation (15 acres) 25.9 ac-ft/yr, tree <br />nursery (10 acres) 17.3 ac-ft/yr, and pond evaporation 0.3 <br />ac-ft/yr for a total annual depletion of 44.0 ac-ft. Augmenta- <br />tion water during the historic irrigation season will be supplied <br />through water rights the applicant owns in the Warren Ditch. <br /> <br />217 <br />ai/9a/rmr <br /> <br />. <br />
