The Town is an incorporated Colorado Municipality. Ridgway operates
water treatment and distribution facilities to provide water to its residents (350 taps,) The
existing water treatment facility does not have sufficient capacity to provide irrigation water for
parKs, and the Town wants to construct a new raw water pipeline for that purpose. The average
annual volume to be diverted by the new system will be about 50 acre-feet. Joanne Fagan P,E.
has completed the feasibility study, Proposed funding for the project consists of a CWCS loan
for $77,000, and $31,000 from the Town.
