Type of Grantee: Agticultural/Municipal Median Household Income: N/A Total Study Cost: $220,512 CWCB Funding: $136,131 Colorado Institute for Irrigation Management (CSU) has requested funding in amount of $136,131 to cover 62% of the cost of a study to assess the Benefits and Costs of Pressurized Dual Water Systems in Colorado, (Dual water systems deliver raw water for outside inigation, reducing the demand on dtinking water systems during the summer,) The study would concentrate on northeast Colorado, particularly water districts 1 through 6, but study findings would be generally transferable statewide, Phase 2 of the study would provide feasibility level evaluation of two agricultural water providers (The New Cache La Poudre Irrigating Company and the Highland Ditch Company) and their potential for dual water system development. This part of the study has significant potential to result in it future loan from the Construction Fund/Severance Tax Perpetual Base Account. The study would be coordinated through CSU, but has a number of supporters who will contribute cash; in-kind services, and letters of support, Dr. John Wilkins-Wells, and Dr, Terence Podmore, have developed a detailed scope of work, Location Map 4 . 27 ~ . . . . .
