Trans-rnounlain diversions from: <br />o Fryingpan-Alkansas projea-Boustead Tunnel <br />o Twin Lakes tunnel <br />o Busk-Ivanhoe tunnel <br /> <br />Ruedl ReseMlir operations have Influenced the gage since Ruedi began operatlons'May,1968. The <br />Fryingpan-Alkansas Project, Twin Lakes Tunnel, and Busk-lvanhoe Tunnel have available reoords <br />cornmendng in 1974. CorrectIons were applied only during the late irrigation season months of interest: <br />August, September, and October. <br /> <br />In order to evaluate Ruedfs effect, record8 were obtained from the following gages from 1988-2002: <br /> <br />(1) USGS 09080400 FRYlNGPAN RIVER NEAR RUEDI, CO. <br />(2) co.DWR FRYlNG PAN RIVER AT MEREDITH, CO <br />(3) USGS 09080500: Roaring Fork River at GIenwood Springs <br /> <br />These gages respectively bracket Ruedl ReseMlir and offer a measure of its influence on streamflow. <br />Thus, to lXlITIpute the amount of storageIreIease, the dsllyaverage flow value at (1) was subtracted <br />from the daily average flow value at (2). The resulting correction was then subblf(;f8d from the flow et <br />(3), USGS 09080500: Roaring Fork River et GIenwood Springs. <br /> <br />In order to evaluate the effects due to Fryingpan-Alkansas and Twin Lakes, Slate of Colorado Division <br />of Water Resources records were obtained from the following structures from 1974-2002: <br /> <br />(4) FRYlNGPAN ARKANSAS PROJECT BOUSTEAO TUNNEL <br />(5) IND P TM DVR TUNNEL NO 1 (1WIN LAKES TUNNEL) <br />(6) NANHOE RESERVOIR TU~NEl <br /> <br />From the Desk of Mark D.
