Flood Insurance Study, Town of Parker, March 2, 1993 - Proposed Resolution
No. 00-498

In order to increase the CWCB's efficiency and allow more time for consideration of
water policy and contested issues, the following items are noticed for action by the CWCB as
part of the January 2000 "Consent Agenda. "

The process for placing matters on the Consent Agenda is as follows:

The Director identifies matters recommended by staff where the recommended action
follows established policy or precedent, there has been a negotiated settlement or the matter is
expected to be uncontested and non-controversial. Staff will provide written memos to the
CWCB members explaining the matters on the Consent Agenda, which will be identified by and
filed under the Item number assigned in the Agenda. Copies of the memos will be available to
the public under the usual procedures (described above).
Matters on the Consent Agenda are noticed for hearing at the same time and in the same
manner as other agenda items. If a member of the CWCB requests further consideration of an
item on the consent agenda, that will be withdrawn from the Consent Agenda and discussed at
the end of the meeting or at the next meeting. The Consent Agenda may be voted on without the
necessity of reading individual items. Any CWCB member may request clarification from the
. Director for any matter on the Consent Agenda.

6
