State Water Legislation Proposals Tape 3 Start/Stop 5112 - 6300 Tape 4 Start/Stop 0001 - 1125 Action: A discussion was held on bills introduced into the State Legislature. Alan Hamel made a motion that the Board support Senate Bill 95-083. The motion was seconded by Eric Kuhn and approved unanimously (7-0). Ray Wright made a motion that the Board oppose House Bill 95-11 12 in its present form. The motion was seconded by Ray Werner and approved unanimously (7-0). Leo Eisel moved that the Board support the portion of Bill 95-1151 that deals with the holdings of hearings for wells within 600 feet of one another, and that the Board oppose the two other concerns expressed in that bill. The motion was seconded by David Harrison, who also amended the motion that the Board express concern on definition between a spring and a well, give support for the idea of streamlining the hearing process of 600 foot spacing, and oppose something that changed the 35 acre exemption. The amended motion was passed unaninrously (7 -0). 28.
