The legislation would <br />authorize the Interior Secretary to enter into contracts for the use of excess storage and <br />conveyance capacity in the Fryingpan-Arkansas Project, Colorado, to conduct studies for the <br />enlargement of Pueblo Dam and Reservoir and Sugar Loaf Dam and Turquoise Lake. <br /> <br />The Board supported the legislative proposal in concept, but wanted to review the bill <br />after it was introduced, <br /> <br />The bill was introduced on May 5, Copies ofthe biII are attached for Board members. <br />The public can review the bill, statements and bill status information on the Internet at <br />htt)l://thomas.loc. gov/. <br /> <br />Flood Protection.
