<br />e <br /> <br />e <br /> <br />e <br /> <br />Correlation analysis was performed to determine the <br />statistical relationships of water elevations at different <br />stations to each other and the probability that these <br />relationships were due to chance. The analysis is presented in <br />Table 1 and indicates that a number of very high and significant <br />correlations exist between stations. In many instances staff <br />gauges have similar correlation coefficients with groundwater <br />monitoring wells as with other staff gauges. Thus, the <br />groundwater levels in most wells appear completely connected with <br />the stream, and stream levels determine groundwater levels. <br /> <br />Table 1.
