Hydrographs for the stations at Transect 3, the upper _
transect, are not presented graphically because this station is ~
entrenched in bedrock and only one of the three monitor wells
installed contacted groundwater.
Profiles across the valley were produced for transects 1 and
2. Figure 5 shows water elevations for several different dates
during 1992. On most dates the water levels are between 5,415
and 5,416 feet elevation. All stations are within a few inches
of each other on all days except 24 August, when the highest flow
in Little Dry Creek was recorded. Figure 6 shows the same
profile for a series of 5 consecutive days, August 24-28.
Following the high flow of 24 August surface water has returned
to pre-flood levels by 25 August, while the groundwater takes
approximately 2 days to return to pre-flood levels.

e

8

-
