Other stream imabitants am tre variety of birds
and mammals that reside in the wetlands and riparian vegetation are available
to people who enjoy observing wildlife. Continued removal of wetland habitat
as observed on Goldsmith Gulch and Greenwood Gulch will not only eliminate
wildife but cost tax dollars through increased erosion rates within the
community. Thus, protection of these waterways will not only enhance wildlife
but will save the community maintenance dollars. Construction activities such
as those noted on Greenwood Gulch eliminate aquatic species through habitat
destruction. If the community of Greenwood Village addresses these concerns
the healthy urban wildlife situation associated with these four waters will
remain and flourish.

-'-.

e

e

e
