A rating table for the
gage was developed from actual flow measurements taken at various times throughout the
period. The flows shown on the graph represent the average daily flows for each given
month. Based on the DOW biological analyses and the baseflow characteristics of the above
hydro graph, the instream flow recommendation is 2.2 cfs year round.

SUMMARY

.

The DOW has documented that a natural environment is present in the form of a
naturally reproducing warm water fishery evidenced by the presence of western white
suckers, fathead minnows, and creek chubs.

.

The DOW has recommended that a year round flow of 2.2 cfs is necessary to
preserve the natural environment to a reasonable degree.

.

The CWCB staff has conducted a water availability analysis and determined that this
amount of water is available for the Board's appropriation.

.

.

The CWCB staff has determined that adequate water supplies exist such that the
natural environment may be preserved without limiting or foreclosing the exercise
of valid existing water rights.

F;le:LDCRECDOC
