These impact fees <br />must be dedicated to capital improvements and cannot be used for maintenance. In addition, <br />some (but not all) properties within the study area are subject to the Grand Junction Drainage <br />District mill levy. This tax funds all activities (capital, operations, and administration) of the <br />District system, which (in all municipalities) includes most of the larger municipal storm drains <br />but does not include most of the washes.
