Forest Service Reserved Rights Cases, Case Nos. W-1146-73 et a/., Water Division 7. <br /> <br />Another status report was due to the court on December 15,2005, but has not yet been <br />filed because we are still discussing wording with the attorney for the United States. The <br />United States has never responded to the settlement offer that the state and the water users <br />made in June 2003. Over the last several months, the Southwest District has attempted to <br />discuss the issue with the Forest Service, as part of the Governmental Water Roundtable, a <br />forum for water issues relating to the amendment of the San Juan Forest Management Plan, <br />but the Forest Service has not been receptive to these requests. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />I Text concerning previously reported matters will usually contain only information on recent developments rather <br />than repeating background information.
