Forest Service Reserved Ril(hts Cases, Case Nos. 81-CW-220 et al., Water Division 2. <br /> <br />Wendy Weiss on behalf of the state parties signed the stipulation allowing the Forest Service <br />to withdraw the Division 2 claims with prejudice. We expect most, ifnot all, of the other <br />objectors to sign similar stipulations, some of which will include the payment of the objector's <br />costs and attorney fees by the U.S. <br /> <br />2. Forest Service Reserved Ril(hts Cases, Case Nos. W-1l46-73 et aI., Water Division 7. <br /> <br />The state and water users responded jointly in writing to the Forest Service's settlement <br />proposal. Our response set forth some general principles to guide future negotiations that we <br />would require in order to continue on a settlement path. We're waiting to hear back.
