<br />Water Project Construction Program - Project Data <br />Non-Reimbursable Investment <br /> <br />Applicant: Colorado Division of Wildlife <br /> <br />Project Name: Colorado Conservation Reserve Enhancement Program (CREP) <br />proposal support <br /> <br />Project Type: Support for development and implementation of CREP proposals <br /> <br />Potential Counties: Morgan, Logan, Sedgwick, Yuma, Lincoln, Phillips, Kit <br />Carson, Washington, Saguache, Alamosa, Rio Grande, and Conejos <br /> <br />Drainage Basin: Rio Grande, Republican, and South Platte <br /> <br />Water Source: Ground and Surface water in respective river basins <br /> <br />Total Project Cost: Total In-Kind and Cash project costs are estimated between <br />$150 and $250 million depending on the number of acres that are ultimately <br />targeted in the three drainages. <br /> <br />Funding Sources: Eighty percent (80%) of the funding will come from the United <br />States Department of Agriculture. The remaining twenty percent (20%) of the <br />funding is the responsibility of the proposing state and its partners. The twenty <br />percent may be a combination of in-kind services and cash as necessary. Partners <br />may include, but may not be limited to Colorado Water Conservation Board, <br />GOCO, Colorado Division of Wildlife, Water Conservation Districts, Conservation <br />Districts, Ducks Unlimited, Pheasants Forever, The Nature Conservancy, and other <br />water, agriculture and/or natural resource organizations. <br /> <br />Type of Applicant: State agency within Colorado Department of Natural <br />Resources. <br /> <br />CWCB Investment: Seventy five thousand dollars ($75,000). <br />
