The Quality of Water subdistrict office
in Denver has been converted to a project
Office for Colorado. There will be no change
in personnel or activities of the unit.

Three new gaging stations have been in-
stalled in the purgatoire River basin to
collect records for determining the effect of
the proposed Trinidad project on streamflow
in the basin. The stations are located on the
purgatoire River, Van Bremer Arroyo, and Luning
Arroyo near Model, Colorado.

Four new stations have been installed in
the Colorado River basin in connection with
Bureau of Reclamation project studies. The
stations are on Fortification Creek, Clear
Creek, Roan Creek, and the Colorado River at
New Castle.

since the April 13 meeting of tile Board:

Water-supply Paper 180S 'Ground Water in
Huerfano County, Colorado', by Thad G. MCLaugh-
lin was delivered from the printers on May 3.
