<br />13 <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />Consent Agenda Item 2a-Stream lll1d Lake Protection <br />Case No. 4-00CWI66; Wilson Mesa at Tellwide Metro Dis!. & Homeowner's Assn. <br /> <br />ApJllication Summary <br /> <br />This is an application for an augmentation plan on Bear Creek and Elk in San Miguel County near <br />the town of Telluride (see attached map), The Applicant is proposing to augment depletions <br />associated with water use taken at the Elk Creek Pipeline (on Elk Creek) with dryup credits for <br />lands historically irrigated from water rights diverting from Bear Creek. <br /> <br />CWCB Aooropriations <br /> <br />The Board holds an instream flow right on Bear Creek for 2.0 cfs year round, and an instream flow <br />water right on Elk Creek for 2,5 cfs year round, which may be injured by this application, <br /> <br />Potential for Iniurv <br /> <br />The Applicant's proposed augmentation plans may not replace the depletions in time, place and <br />amount, and therefore may injure the Board's instream flow water right on Bear and Elk. <br /> <br />Other Obiectors <br />.
