<br />QUALIFICATIONS FOR SUCH GRANTS SHALL BE DETERMINED JOINTLY BY THE <br />COMMISSION AND THE BOARD IN COOPERATION WITH THE COLORADO WATERSHED <br />ASSEMBLY. <br />(4) MONEYS GRANTED PURSUANT TO SUBSECTION (3) OF THIS SECTION SHALL NOT <br />BE USED FOR LOBBYING OR FOR ANY OTHER POLITICAL PURPOSE, THE COSTS OF <br />LITIGATION, OR TO REMOVE ANY DIVERSION OR IMPROVEMENT STRUCTURE. <br />SECTION 2. Appropriation. (1) In addition to any other appropriation, there is hereby <br />appropriated, out of any moneys in the Colorado watershed protection fund created in section 39-22- <br />2403 (1), Colorado Revised Statutes, not otherwise appropriated, to the department of revenue, <br />cash and document processing division, for data entry costs, for the fiscal year beginning July 1, <br />2002, the sum of eight hundred twelve dollars ($812), or so much thereof as may be necessary, for <br />the implementation of this act. <br />(2) In addition to any other appropriation, there is hereby appropriated, out of any moneys in <br />the Colorado watershed protection fund created in section 39-22-2403 (1), Colorado Revised <br />Statutes, not otherwise appropriated, to the department of natural resources, water conservation <br />board, for costs incurred in administering the moneys in the fund and for grants awarded, for the <br />fiscal year beginning July 1,2002, the sum of one h~ndred thousand dollars ($100,000), or so much <br />thereof as may be necessary, for the implementation of this act. <br />SECTION 3. Effective date. This act shall take effect at 12:01 a.m. on the day following the <br />expiration of the ninety-day period after final adjournment of the general assembly that is allowed for <br />submitting a referendum petition pursuant to article V, section 1 (3) of the state constitution; except <br />that, if a referendum petition is filed against this act or an item, section, or part of this act within such <br />period, then the act, item, section, or part, if approvl$d by the people, shall take effect on the date of <br />the official declaration of the vote thereon by proclamation of the governor. <br />Approved: June 3, 2002 <br /> <br />Capital letters indicate new material added to existilig statutes; dashes through words indicate <br />deletions from existing statutes and such material not part of act. <br /> <br />~. <br /> <br />\ <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />. <br />
