CRAWFORD: "About a year ago, in order to help out <br />Mr. Dutcher, I was appointed Colorado's <br />representative on the Aqualantes. During <br />the winter I spent a lot of time and did <br />the best I could and was not'very successful. <br />I find it is totally impossible for me to <br />conduct the work of my office and also <br />conduct a successful campaign of this kind. <br />The Chairman of the Board has given me <br />authority to drop that activity." <br /> <br />There were no objections from the Board. <br /> <br />MR. PETERSON: "Here is another thought. I am wonderi ng if it <br />would not be"a good thing if the Director would <br />make, between now and the next meeting of this <br />Board, some determination as to whether or not <br />State funds are needed and could be used to <br />good advantage and, if so, how much, for the <br />investigations of the projects to be proposed <br />for inclusion in the Colorado River Storage <br />Project and report to the Board." <br /> <br />MR.
