Law, Executive Director &f- <br /> <br />FROM: <br /> <br />RE: <br /> <br />Director's Report <br /> <br />Water Pollution Control Revolvina Fund <br /> <br />The 2002 WPCRF Intended Use Plan. which includes the project eligibility list. is currently out for public review with <br />formal action scheduled for October 9, This IUP will add 34 projects to the list representing over $250 million of need <br />and will delete 22 projects representing $29 million of need, The resulting project eligibility list of over 250 projects will <br />represent a cumulative need of over $950 million, <br /> <br />Our loan capacity for 2002. utilizing an additional grant of $1 0,5 million and all available re-loan funds, is approximately <br />$105 million, For 2002. we expect to execute over $60 million in loans, It appears that loan capacity for 2003 (estimated <br />at $100 million) will be fully utilized, <br /> <br />Drlnkina Water Revolvina Fund <br /> <br />The 2002 DWRF Intended Use Plan. which also inciudes the project eligibility list, is nearly complete, It will be released <br />by the Board of Health for public review in about two weeks, The Board of Health is expected to take formal action on <br />the Intended Use Plan in November, The 2001 project eligibility list includes over 230 projects representing over $700 <br />million of need, The loan capacity for 2002, utilizing a grant of $13 million and re-Ioan funds. is approximately $40 <br />million, For 2002. we expect to execute over $20 million in loans, <br /> <br />Animas-La Plata Project <br /> <br />The Authority has been working with representatives of the Animas-La Plata Water Conservancy District to amend <br />several documents dealing with the 1986 cost sharing agreement The following documents were reviewed at a <br />negotiating session with the Bureau of Reclamation on September 20-21 in Denver: <br /> <br />1. Amended and restated A-I-P concerning the Colorado Ute Indian water rights settlement and binding <br />agreement for ALP cost sharing <br />2, Amended and restated escrow agreement <br />3, Amended and restated agreement and instructions for administering the escrow agreement <br />4, Funding agreement and repayment contract with the Bureau of Reclamation <br /> <br />On October 4. the signatories to the original ALP cost sharing agreement will be meeting to discuss the draft amended <br />and restated ALP cost sharing agreement The meeting is scheduled for 3:00 p,m, at the Bureau of Reclamation. 835 <br />East 2nd.
