(a) That a comprehensive and detailed fact fil.ding
investigation covering various.areas. of. the State. by the U. S.
Geological Surveyor other qualified Federal Agenoies) with lIhOlll
the Colorado ~ater Conservation Board should oooperate. be
promoted by the Board and such study B:IId investigation
canpleted.

(b) That ~e present study 1lIldertaken by the subeanmittee
of the National Resources PllUlIling Board. with respect 1D the
laWS of the various States of the Union relating to under-
ground _ters B:IId rights therein. be ccmpleted and the conclusiona
of such sub-cClllllllittee studied and considered by this Board.

(c) That after the information developed by the Engineering
investigations and legal studies become available to this Board,
and a study thereof _de, the Board then be in a position to
decide whether additional legislation covering this subject in
Colorado is necessary and. if so. its appropriate fo1'lll and
provisions.

(d) That prier to such investigations and studies. the
Board shculd not attempt to sponsor legislation covering this
subject, the effect and need of which is )lOW questionable.

Discussion then ensued coneerningthe payment for the printing and'
publication of the State Engineer's annual repert. JIr. I.e.vington. Purchasi
Agent. appeared before the Board and explained the items of cost for such
publication and Mr. Hinderlider i'urther explained what had transpired with
respect to the publication of this Board. payment of the cost of which. in
the lUllOunt of $1.200 had theretofore been approve<l out; of Colorado Water
CcnseI"ftl;tion Board Funds.

Motion _s then made by Attorney General Rogers. secanded by
Judge O'Rourke, that the Boarl.. in oCllformity with its resolution. pe:1
for the printing of the report of the State l!1ngineer for the year- 1935-36.
in the 8IlIount of the contraet priee of $1.980 and that the same cane out
of the old appropriation beoause the Board heretofore had authorhed it in
the old appropriation llIld it was oontracted rmd oarried out at that time.

It was moved, seconded and carried that the Board go intoc
executive session to consider and dispose of other budget matters.
Discussion ensued with respect to the seouring of adeliuate q1lll.rters for the
