<br />210 <br /> <br />F-orenoon Session <br />Monday, July 10; 1950 <br /> <br />The meeting was called to order at 10 o' clock by Vice Chaiman George <br />J. Bailey. <br /> <br />The Director reported Board Member John Beaty was a patient in the <br />hospital, and would be unable to attend the reeting, and that Mr. Beaty had <br />requested Mr. H. H. Christy of Pueblo be permitted to substitute for him in <br />the Board meeting. Hearing no objection, the presiding officer said the <br />record would show Mr. Christy substituting for Mr. Beaty. <br /> <br />Ralph D. Goodrich, engineer for the Upper Colorado River Commission, <br />was introduced by the Director. <br /> <br />It was announced that the minutes of the Board meeting of June 15-16, <br />1950, had not been ppepared, and would be delayed for consideration until <br />the next reeting of the Board. . . <br /> <br />The agenda for the current meeting was ml:rnitted as follows: <br /> <br />1. 8onsideration of Official Comments of the State of Colorado, under Sec- <br />tion I of the 1944 Flood Control Act, of the report of the Corps of <br />Engineers on proposed flood control at Craig, Colorado. <br /> <br />2. Report of Committee on conference with Corps of Army Engineers, and Bureau <br />of lteclamation, respecting storage and operation plan for Chatfield <br />Reservoir, a feature of the recently authorized South Platte flood <br />control project. <br /> <br />3. Consideration of proposal of the Director of Region 4, Bureau of Reclama- <br />tion, respecting Gunnison River development, a feature of the proposed <br />Colorado River Storage Project. <br /> <br />4. Consideration of the Comments of the Colorado Water Conservation .Board to <br />the President's Water Resources Policy Commission. <br /> <br />5. Renewal of the Contract between the Colorado Water Conservation Board and <br />Royce J. Tipton, Denver, for services as iJonsulting Engineer. <br /> <br />6. Report on, and consideration of, problems incident to Colorado River <br />development. <br /> <br />7.
