<br />Proiect Description: The dam will be rehabilitated to maintain the existing storage
<br />capacity of about 800 acre-feet. The breach resulting from the May 1998 failure in a
<br />portion of the embankment will be filled, the dam crest will be reshaped and the
<br />downstream slope will be reduced to 2.5 to 1.0 by placing a considerable amount of fill
<br />material on the downstream face of the dam, In addition, rip rap protection will be placed
<br />on the upstream face, a toe drain and drainage blanket will be installed as well as a new
<br />18-inch diameter outlet conduit. The spillway will be reshaped to pass the Probable
<br />Maximum Flood.
