<br />. <br /> <br />~ <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />Second Regular Session <br />Sixty-third General Assembly <br />STATE OF COLORADO <br /> <br />INTRODUCED <br /> <br />LLS NO. 02-0473.01 Pam Cybyske [Thomas Morris] <br />Scott HOUSE SPONSORSHIP <br /> <br />HOUSE BILL 02-1118 <br /> <br />SENATE SPONSORSHIP <br /> <br />Reeves <br /> <br />House Committees Senate Committees <br />Agriculture, Livestock, & Natural Resources <br /> <br />A BILL FOR AN ACT <br /> <br />CONCERNING THE DISCRETION OF THE COLORADO WATER RESOURCES AND POWER DEVELOPMENT <br />AUTHORITY IN FINANCING PROJECTS. <br /> <br />Bill Summary <br /> <br />(Note: This summary applies to this bill as introduced and does not necessarily reflect any amendments <br />that may be subsequently adopted.) <br /> <br />Changes the definition of "small water resources projects" to comprise those governmental agency water <br />management or hydroelectric facilities for which the amount of financing provided by the Colorado water <br />resources and power development authority (authority) to any participating governmental agency does not exceed <br />$100 million. <br />Amends the definition of "water management facilities" to include sewerage facilities. <br />Allows the water quality control commission to add emergency projects to the water pollution control <br />project eligibility list at any time if it determines that the project is needed to prevent or address threats to the <br />public health or environment. Requires the authority to provide the general assembly, no later than January 15 <br />of each year, with a listing of all emergency projects on which water pollution control revolving fund moneys have <br /> <br />Shading denotes HOUSE amendment.
