In particular, the Applicant is seeking to change <br />the type of use from mining and milling operations to domestic, livestock, mine reclamation, and <br />road dust control purposes, The point of diversion will remain the same. These lands are located in <br />the Chicago Creek drainage, just upstream of the Town ofIdaho Springs (see attached map), <br /> <br />CWCB Appropriations <br /> <br />The Board holds instream flow water rights on Chicago Creek for 3.5 cfs with an appropriation date <br />of 3/14/1986, <br /> <br />Potential for Iniury <br /> <br />This application may cause injury to the Board's Chicago Creek instream flow water rights by <br />expanding the historic times and amounts of diversion, <br /> <br />Other Obiectors <br /> <br />The other objectors in this case are: Consolidated Mutual Water Co.; the City of Arvada; Farmers <br />Highline Canal and Reservoir Co.; the City of Thornton; the City of Golden; Coors Brewing Co.; <br />the City of Westminster; and Jefferson County, <br /> <br />L:\Section Folders\SECC\Case Files\200 I \1 0 1 CW256 _ mem.doc <br />
