Measurements 3 Measurements Measurements 5 Prepare and publish report Total A third set of discharge measurements will be made at high flow (3,000-5,000 ft'!s) near the peak of high-elevation snowmelt. A fourth set of discharge measurements will be made at medium flow (1,500-3,000 ft'!s) during the high-elevation snowmelt recession. A final set of discharge measurements will be made at low flow (500- 1,500 ft'!s) after snowmelt and before the end of agricultural irri ation. After all measurements have been completed and analyzed, results ofthe measurements and the mass-balance analyses will be incorporated into a report. Other entities such as the Colorado River Water Conservation District (CRWCD) and Upper Gunnison River Water Conservancy District (UGRWCD) have expressed interest but have not yet committed any funds. Therefore approximately $59,460 is needed to provide the necessary matching funds for this project. Recommendation Staff recommends that the Board request the General assembly authorize $59,460 from the Construction Fund to be _propriated to provide the required matching funds for the USGS Gunnison River Streamflow Study. e Flood Protection .
