<br />approve as flood hazard areas those areas set forth in the report which <br />are subject to an intermediate regional flood: and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Article 149-1-11(4), Colorado Revised Statutes 1963, <br />requires that the Colorado Water Conservation Board designate and I <br />approve storm or flood water runoff channels and to make such designa- <br />tions available to legislative bodies of local jurisdictions: and <br /> <br />WHEREAS. Article 139-60-1. Colorado Revised Statutes 1963, <br />provides that cities. towns, counties and local jurisdictions may pro- <br />vide zoning regulations for any storm or flood water runoff channel <br />only after designation and approval by the Colorado Water Conservation <br />Board: <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE. BE IT RESOLVED by the Colorado Water Conserva- <br />tion Board in regular meeting assembled in Denver, Colorado this 18th <br />day of January, 1973. that it does hereby rescind that portion of the <br />resolution adopted on December 13. 1967 relating to the flood hazard <br />areas set forth in the previous information reports covering Bear Creek <br />and Clear Creek, insofar as such resolution pertains to Bear Creek: and <br /> <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Colorado Water Conservation <br />Board does hereby designate and approve as flood hazard areas those <br />areas described as being inundated by an intermediate regional flood <br />asset forth in the Special Flood Hazard Information Report prepared <br />and submitted by the U. S. Army Corps of Engineers covering Bear Creek, <br />dated December. 1972: and <br /> <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Secretary of this Board is <br />directed to send a certified copy of this resolution to the Board of <br />County Commissioners for Jefferson County. to the Lakewood City Council, <br />to the Sheridan City Council. to the Mayor of the City and County of <br />Denver, and to the Urban'F1ood Control and Drainage District. <br /> <br />C !
