<br />Aoplication Summarv <br /> <br />Agenda Item 6f <br />Case No. 2-98CWI73; Lake County <br /> <br />This is an application for a blanket augmentation plan within Lake County (see attached map). The <br />Applicant is requesting to replace all out-of-priority depletions from future growth and development <br />within the county with this plan. The structures to be augmented are existing and future wells, <br />diversion structures and water storage structures in Lake County. Including but not limited to Ski <br />Cooper Wells, Mt. Massive Golf Course and Hollenbeck Ranch. Applicant intends to use its .share of <br />the Hayden Ranch Water Rights and other future water rights obtained by Lake County to augment <br />depletions. <br /> <br />CWCB Appropriations <br /> <br />The Board holds instream flow appropriations on Big Union Creek, Glacier Creek, West Tennessee <br />Creek, Halfinoon Creek, East Fork Arkansas River, Lake Fork Creek, Echo Creek, East Tennessee <br />Creek, Black Cloud Creek, North Fork Lake Creek, Lake Creek, North Fork West Tennessee Creek, <br />Busk Creek, Twobit Gulch, Low Pass Gulch and Longs Gulch. <br /> <br />Potential for Iniurv <br /> <br />Applicant's request for a county wide augmentation plan may not replace depletions to the Board's <br />existing Lake County instream flow water rights in the same time, amount or location at which they <br />occur. <br /> <br />Other Objectors <br /> <br />Other objectors include the Eagle Sky Foundation, Southeastern Colorado Water Conservancy <br />District, Parkville Water District, the Fort Lyon Canal Company, the Upper Arkansas Water <br />Conservancy District, Lake Fork Ranch Company, the Holbrook Mutual Irrigating Company, the City <br />of Aurora, the City of Salida, East Twin Lakes Ditches and Water Works, Arkansas Valley Ditch <br />Association, Twin Lakes Reservoir and Canal Company, Board of Water Works of Pueblo, Public <br />Service Company of Colorado, US Forest Service, Colorado State Engineers Office and Mount <br />Massive Lakes, Inc. <br /> <br />298CWI73_mem <br />
