VU;.J MR. MOSES: "I think we should try and get to- gether on the meaning we wish this resolution to co~vey. I think we ought to have a vote on the resolution. If the resolution is adopted, we don't need any changes but if the motion loses then we aren't interested in any changes." I MR. McCANDLESS: "I have ,read two of these bills in which they propose, if these bills are passed, to take.away from the Colorado Water Conservation Board the general supervision of these underground water problems. " MR. MOSES: "Again let me repeat - the question under consideration is Mr. Miller's resolution and not any proposed legis- lation." MR. BARNARD: . '~lhy don't we defer a vote until after lunch?" ~m. MOSES: "Are there any objections of recess- ing until 1:30? Then we will recess until 1:30." The meeting reconvened at 1:40 P. M. and was called to order by Vice-Chairman Moses. Miller has some sug- gested changes in the resolution." "I would iike to amend the motion which is now tabled. I move the reso- lution with the following changes be passed. On page 3 change Paragraph 2, small g, by inserting after the word 'draft' the words 'a proposed' and to change the period to a comma after the word 'Legis- I lature' and insert the words 'to supple- ment such legislation as may be enacted by the present General Assembly'; and to change Paragraph 4 by inserting in the 4th line after the word 'with', the words 'any additional proposed legisla- tion' and strike all the words 'on or !VIR.
