<br />SUMMARY OF PROPOSED PROJECT <br />CONSOLIDATED MUTUAL WATER COMPANY <br />FORTUNE RESERVOIR <br /> <br />..... <br />II <br />tit <br /> <br />Proiect Sponsor: Consolidated Mutual Water Company <br /> <br />Tvpe of Proiect: Municipal - new raw water reservoir <br /> <br />Location: About y, mile northwest of the intersection of Highway 72 and Indiana Street <br />on a dry tributary of Big Dry Creek in the City of Arvada, Jefferson County as shown on <br />the map below. <br /> <br />Date of Application: December 22, 1998 and November 29, 1999 <br /> <br />Feasibility Study: Completed in October 1999 and updated in January 2000 <br /> <br />Proiect Description: The project involves the construction of a 9,000 acre-foot reservoir <br />with a 105 foot-high, zoned earth embankment; an emergency spillway capable of <br />passing the Probable Maximum Flood; and a 30-inch diameter inlet/outlet pipeline. The <br />reservoir will be hydraulically connected with the rest of the Company's Maple Grove <br />raw water system through 5 y, miles of new pipeline. Property acquisition, permitting and <br />engineering design work have been completed. Plans and specifications for the project <br />were approved by the State Engineer's Office in November 1999.
