The <br />matter was discussed by Sheftel, Eisel, Meyring, Wright, Salazar, and Smith. <br /> <br />3. <br /> <br />Personnel Matters, continued (11:53 - 11:55 a.m.) <br /> <br />Chairman Martineau gave a progress report on the interview process. Co=ents were <br />made by Lochhead and Eisel. Chairman Martineau recessed the meeting so the Board <br />could go into executive session. <br /> <br />Executive Session, continued <br /> <br />Friday. August 7. 1992 <br /> <br />Executive Session, continued (estimated 11:30 - 11:40 a.m.) <br /> <br />Call to Order (estimated 11:40 a.m.) <br /> <br />Chairman Martineau called the meeting back to order at approximately 11:40 a.m. in <br />the CWCB's Director's office, Room 721, State Centennial Building, 1313 Sherman <br />Street, Denver, Colorado, and there was a quorum. Chairman Martineau, Sheftel, <br />Wright, Smith, Meyring, and Eisel participated by telephone conference call. Peter <br />Evans, DNR, represented Ken Salazar. Chairman Martineau indicated he had <br />authority to exercise David Harrison's vote by proxy. Absent were Lochhead, Simpson, <br />Norton, and Olson. <br /> <br />Report on Matters Discussed in Executive Session (estimated 11:40 - 11:42 a.m.) <br /> <br />Chairman Martineau indicate that the CWCB had interviewed the top candidates for <br />both the CWCB Director position and the State Engineer position and discussed their <br />credentials during the executive session. <br /> <br />3. <br /> <br />Personnel Matters, continued (estimated 11:42 - 11:45 a.m.) <br /> <br />Chairman Martineau indicated that the chair would entertain a motion to formalize <br />the results of the Board's interviews and discussion. Janice Sheftel moved that the <br />Board enthusiastically appoint Chuck Ule as CWCB Director llIld enthusiastically <br />endorse Hal Simpson as State Engineer.
