AU&\lst 5. 1992 <br />Call to Order (estimated 8:30 a.m.) <br /> <br />1. <br /> <br />A special meeting of the Colorado Water Conservation Board was held on Wednesday <br />August 5, 1992 in Room 719, State Centennial Building, 1313 Sherman Street, Denver, <br />Colorado. The meeting was called to order at approximately 8:30 a.m. by Chairman <br />Martineau. Ten of the ten voting members were present so there was a quorum (at <br />least six required). Present were Salazar, Harrison, Smith, Jackson, Lochhead, Eisel, <br />Martineau, Sheftel, Wright, and Meyring. Absent were Norton, Olson, Simpson, and <br />Gene Jencsok, Acting Director. <br /> <br />2. <br /> <br />Approval of Agenda*2 (estimated 8:31 - 8:32 a.m.) <br /> <br />Chairman MartiJ1eau indicated staff had proposed changes to the published agenda. <br /> <br />1 A complete record of the public session part of the meeting has been made <br />on an audio cassette tape. The tape and the associated staff memoranda are the <br />only legal record of the meeting. This written summary is intended only as an <br />aid to research and a guide to the tape. The motions presented herein may not <br />necessarily represent a verbatim transcript. Numbered agenda items are presented <br />chronologically in the order that they were actually considered by the Board. <br /> <br />The tape, recorded at very slow speed (1.2 em/sec) on a Sony BM-146 court <br />recorder, is available for listening at the eweB during regular office hours. <br />Arrangements to make a copy of the tape or written transcripts of specific agenda <br />items may be made at the requestor's expense. <br /> <br />The tape covered the public sessions from about 8:30 a.m. to 9:25 a.m. <br />Wednesday, from 9:42 to 9:45 a.m. Thursday, and from 11:15 to 11:55 a.m. <br />Thursday. <br /> <br />2 A staff memorandum was prepared for items marked with an asterisk. <br /> <br />August 1992 Meeting, page 1 <br />
