This was presented to the states for the
first time on March 22, 2001.

Staff Recommendation

Staff recommends that the Board support adoption of an inadvertent overrun policy by
Reclamation. However, the policy as published in the Federal Register on January 18,
2001, is not sufficient. The Board directs staffto continue working with the basin states
and water users to get our questions answered and to develop an acceptable inadvertent
overrun policy.

Attachment

.

.
