FINAL SUMMARY MINUTES AND RECORD OF DECISIONS! January 24-25, 2001 Approved as Presented March 26-26, 2001 Wednesdav. J anuarv 24. 2001 Call to Order 8:00 a.m. A regular meeting of the Colorado Water Conservation Board was held at the Holiday Inn-Northg1enn, 10 E 1201h Avenue, Northg1enn, Colorado 80207, commencing at 8:00 a.m. Wednesday, January 24.2001, and continuing on Thursday, January 25, 2001. Chairperson Lewis Entz called the meeting to order. Nine voting members were present at the time of call to order so there was a quorum (at least six required). Board members present on this date were Lewis Entz, Harold Miske1, Patricia Wells, Don Schwindt, Eric Kuhn, Bob Burr, Keith Catlin, Eric Wilkinson, David Smith, Greg Walcher, Attorney General Ken Salazar (and during part of the meeting, Jennifer Gimbel and Felicity Hannay representing the Attorney General's office), State Engineer Hal Simpson, Commissioner of Agriculture Don Ament and CWCB Director Rod Kuharich. Note: While Board's consideration of agenda items doesn't always follow the sequence indicated by the agenda numbers, these minutes are listed in agenda item order for easier reference. 1a. Review and Approval of Agenda Tape 1, Start/Stop: 0001- 0081 Action: A motion was made by David Smith to accept the revised agenda of January 22, 2001, with the additional change that 9(c)(2) "Defenders of Wildlife v. Babbit" would not be heard at this meeting. The motion was seconded by Patricia Wells and approved unanimously (9-0). 1 A complete record of the meeting has been made on audio cassette tapes. The tapes and the associated written materials are the only legal record of the meeting. These written summaries are intended only as an aid to research and a guide to the tapes. The motions described herein may not represent a verbatim transcription. Agenda items are presented in numerical order, according to the Agenda for the meeting. Tape numbers and approximate locations are identified for the beginning and end of each agenda item. The complete record of this meeting is available at the ewes during regular office hours. Arrangements to make copies of the tapes or written transcripts of specific agenda items may be produced at the requestor's expense. Notes from the meeting for identification of times and tapes for specific agenda items can also be reviewed at the CWCB offices. Voting tallies are based on members present for voting. Members recusing themselves are identified. Board members occasionally leave the meeting, but the original meeting notes typically indicate whether or not a particular Board Member was present during a specific agenda item.
