Where possible, all eligible sites and'propetUeSWithin'or immediately adjacent to the <br />proposed construction areas would be avoided. Should avoidance be impossible, a mitigation plan <br />would be developed in consultation as noted, above. Consultation, pursuant to the Native <br />American Graves Protection and Repatriation: Act of 1990, with Native American groups having <br />an interest in the area may require the development of agreements conceruing the disposition of <br />ancestral human remains, if uncovered by project activity. Should previously undiscovered <br />cultural resources be found or unearthed during construction, work would be stopped in the <br />immediate vicinity of the find, a determination of significance made, and a mitigation plan would <br />be formulated in consultation as noted above. Some sites may be temporarily fenced for protection <br />of the site during construction, and monitoring of construction activities in the vicinity of sensitive <br />cultural resources by a qualified archaeologist would be conducted as necessary. <br /> <br />d.
