Quality Control.

The quality control (QC) processes described in the QC Plan will be performed for all work,
including an independent technical review of all products.

2.5 HTRW INVESTIGATIONS. An initial assessment will be conducted for the entire project
area. The assessment will address th~ existence, or potential for, hazardous toxic and radioactive
waste (HTRW) contamination on lands, including structures and submerged lands, in the study
area, or external HTRW which could impact the project. The initial assessment will be based on
existing documents, interviews, and observations gathered during the conduction of the site visit.
A review of the existing and past property uses will be conducted to determine the likelihood of

SECTION B, PAGE 7
