SUBJECT: Preliminary Instream Flow/Natural Lake Level
Recommendations to be Presented at the
November 3, 1983, Board Meeting

Please find attached the Preliminary Notice of instream
flow/natural lake level recommendations which will be presented
to the Colorado Water Conservation Board for informational and
discussion purposes at its next regular meeting in Denver,
Colorado, on November 3, 1983. This Preliminary Notice
constitutes the start of a pUblic review and comment period which
will run for approximately 90 days before the Board will take any
formal action on these recommendations. When advanced to Final
Notice status, this list will be recirculated with any changes
resulting from the review process incorporated therein.

Should you wish to comment on the instream flow/natural lake
level recommendations as presented in the Preliminary Notice, you
may do so by writing the staff at the address given above. It
should be noted that while your public appearance at the Board
meeting is welcomed, such an appearance is not necessary in order
for your concerns to be recognized. The staff will take your
comments into account and, if you so request, present them to the
Board in your absence.

To insure adequate notification of all interested parties,
we are requesting that you share this notice with any groups or
individuals who you feel would have an interest in the instream
flow/natural lake level recommendations as presented herein.

The State's Instream Flow/Natural Lake Level Program is
administered by the Colorado Water Conservation Board pursuant to
Senate, Bill 97 (section 37-92-102, CRS 1973, as amended).
