<br />2, <br /> <br />Severance Tax Tmst Fund Operational Account Grant <br />Applications <br /> <br />.. <br /> <br />Prior to the March Board meeting, the CWCB staff will prepare for <br />the Board's consideration a summary of the technical and financial <br />characteristics of each proposed project, program or study, <br />Descriptions of the sponsoring entity will also be prepared for each <br />grant application, The grant applications will be prioritized first <br />based on the geographical location of the project relative to <br />impacts of energy and mineral extraction on the area, They will <br />then be prioritized based on program categories in the following <br />order: <br />I, Local water planning and studies for multi-purpose <br />projects <br />2, Office of Water Conservation studies <br />3, Floodplain management studies <br />4, Water information programs and studies <br /> <br />The applications will then be further prioritized based on the type <br />of project applicants in the following order: <br />1, Agricultural or municipal low income <br />2, Municipal middle income <br /> <br />Municipal high income and commercial/industrial water users will <br />not be eligible for grant funds, <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />NOTE: <br /> <br />Recognizing that future needs and responses to those needs cannot <br />be predicted with certainty, the Colorado Water Conservation <br />Board reserves the right to recommend for funding any project, <br />program or study that it determines worthy of grant funding, <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />4 <br />
