RESERVOIR DEIJVERIES THROUGH <br />THE YEAR 2012 <br /> <br />Dear Brian and Randy: <br /> <br />We appreciate Reclamation providing the additional analysis of potential shortages <br />in deliveries from Rued! Reservoir regulatory' capacity during the term of the 2012 <br />Agreement. For our records, we would appreciate receiving a full copy of the document <br />because there were some omissions in the faxed version. <br /> <br />Dave Merritt of the Colorado River Districtl 5 staff and Scott Fifer, the Basalt District's <br />engineering consultant, evaluated the mode1lng analysis and reported to the Basalt District' 5 <br />Board at their May 6 meeting. We had a fairly detailed discussion with the District directors. <br /> <br />As we related to Randy, we concluded that Reclamation's analysis indicates that there <br />will be little risk of a shortage declaration during the term of the Agreement thxough 2012. <br />For that reason, and because our organizations both support the success of the Colorado <br />River Recovery Program, we will not press our objections regarding the proposed shortage . <br />provision.
