<br />Vice-Chairman wallrich announced-that Governor Vivian would not be pre-
<br />sent during the morning session of the meeting. Judge Stone stated that he
<br />received.. telegram from Judge John B. O'Rourke stating that he would not be '
<br />able to ..ttend the meeting Monday. He alsc stated that Attorney General Gail L.
<br />Ireland was in Santa Fe at the meeting of the COIIIIl1ittee of Fourteen and"greed
<br />to "pinch-:!1itlt for one of the men Oll the editing conunittee ef the Committee of
<br />Fourteen from California and went te Los Angeles to work Q& ~t oommittee.

<br />The Director explained that the "genda prepared fer this me~ting doeS not
<br />necessarily include all of the matters which may ccme before this session of
<br />the Board. He suggested that the Board dispose of some of the .itelllll on the
<br />a.genda before the Bureau of ReclamlLtion representatives ..ppee.r. He suggested
<br />first, Item No.6, "confirmatiQll of aotion respecting CJIlpleyment of Thomas .J,
<br />Warren ~s speci~l counsel in the North Platte interstate suit," be oonsidered,
