Stream and Lake Protection Section-Proposed Water Acquisition, Pine River, La Plata County- <br />Staffwill provide an overview of a draft Water Acquisition Agreement being developed by CWCB <br />Staff, the Pine River Irrigation District and the Southern Ute Indian Tribe to preserve and <br />improve the natural environment of the Pine River downstream from Vallecito Reservoir. No <br />action is required at this time. (10:40 - 11: 10) <br /> <br />19. Stream and Lake Protection Section-ISF Rule 6g. Proposed Rulemaking -The Board will be <br />asked to establish a hearing date and appoint a hearing officer for the Pre-Hearing Conference <br />and Rulemaking Hearing. (11:10 -11:20) <br /> <br />20. Stream and Lake Protection Section-Uncontested Instream Flow Appropriations - At the May <br />2005 CWCB meeting, the Board delayed takingfinal action on Escalante Creek to allow the BLM <br />staff time to respond to a landowners questions regarding the proposed instream flow <br />appropriations and the BLM's planning efforts for the area. The BLM staff feels it is now <br />appropriate for the Board to move forward with the appropriation process. Staff will ask the <br />Board to take final action on Escalante Creek in Mesa County. (11 :20 - 11 :30) <br /> <br />21. Stream and Lake Protection Section--Proposed terms and conditions, Horsefly Creek, Montrose <br />County-- The Board will be asked to approve terms and conditions agreed upon by Staff and the <br />Eldred Colorado Family Limited Partnership. If approved and if Staff has stipulated with Trout <br />Unlimited. Staffwill request the Board to take final action on this 2005 ISF appropriation. <br />(11:30-11:45) <br /> <br />22. <br /> <br />Stream and Lake Protection Section- Stream and Lake Protection - Injury with Mitigation - Case <br />Nos. 7-83CW45 and 4-83CW14; Application of United States of America (paradox Salinity <br />Control Unit)-- Pursuant to ISF Rule 8i.(3), the Board will be asked to conduct a preliminary <br />review of a proposed memorandum of agreement between the CWCB and the Bureau of <br />Reclamation to determine whether the natural environment of the D%res River could be <br />preserved to a reasonable degree with the proposed injury or interference with the mitigation <br />offered by the Bureau. This is the first of two required meetings for the Board to approve an <br />Injury with Mitigation proposal. (11 :45 - 12:05) <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />LUNCH 12:05 -1:00 <br /> <br />23. Stream and Lake Protection Section - Injury with Mitigation -Case Nos. 5-01 CW305 and 5- <br />02CW77; Application of BasaIt Water Conservancy District -- Pursuant to ISF Rule &.(3), the <br />Board will be asked to conduct a preliminary review of the proposed pre-trial resolution of these <br />two cases to determine whether the natural environment of the Roaring Fork River could be <br />preserved to a reasonable degree with the proposed injury or interference if applicant provided <br />mitigation. This is the first of two required meetings for the Board to approve an Injury with <br />Mitigation proposal. (1:00 - 1 :20) <br /> <br />24. <br /> <br />Stream and Lake Protection Section - Rehabilitation of Meridian Reservoir by Upper Gunnison <br />River Water Conservancy District -The Board will be asked to review and take action on a <br />proposal from the District that the Board agree to not call for its Slate River ISF water right <br />during the rehabilitation of Meridian Lake Reservoir.
