The basic price for Project water is $7.00 per acre-foot fot both agricultural and municipal entities. The
municipalities pay a $2.00 per acre-foot surcharge for a t~tal of $9.00 per acre-foot while the
agricultural water users pay a $1.25 per acre-foot surcharge for a total of$8.25 per acre-foot. The price
for Project water return flows for both agricultural and mpoicipal entities is $6.00 per acre-foot with a
$0,50 per acre-foot Water Activity Enterprise surcharge. ,

Colorado River Basin

CRRS Open Houses Held: We held two successful open houses regarding the Colorado River Return
Reconnaissance Study on June 9 in Grand Junction and ~n June 10 in Frisco. We used the open houses
to display information about the study, to gather inform~tion and answer questions.

Colorado River Basin Salinity Control Program: R04, Mark Pifher, and Kent Holsinger attended
the Forum's semi annual meeting in Heber City, Utah on May 21. I was selected to be the Forum's
Vice Chairman '

Reclamation Commissioner John Keys and BLM Director Kathleen Clark were guests at the Forum.
The Forum adopted Colorado's resolution honoring Da~id Robbins for his 25 years of service as a
Forum member and a friend of the Basin. Principle issdes discussed by the Forum included:

. Moving into selenium control as an ancillary be~efit of traditional salinity control projects that e
could benefit Colorado since an estimated 60% of the Basin selenium load derives from
Colorado sources.
